Faculty and staff want to spread the love at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
A new book from FTCC, “The Road to Success: A Love Letter to Our Students,” does just that, featuring a collection of stories crafted to uplift, motivate, and inspire those passing through the halls of campus.
Submissions for the collection were gathered months in advance of publication, with a college-wide request for employees to share their personal testimonies of success.
More than two dozen faculty and staff members answered the call, making for a diverse assortment of first-person accounts. The tales range from heartwarming to inspiring, with many an author — some of them FTCC alumni themselves — reminding the reader that the path to success can be unpredictable and winding.
Jennifer Fisher, Department Chair of Advertising & Graphic Design,
“The variety of stories, of writing styles and perspectives, and the range of emotions shared throughout this collection is beautiful,” Fisher said. “Everyone’s path to success is different, and that’s not only OK, it’s the norm, the expectation.”
