Office Information
FTCC’s Corporate & Continuing Education Division provides training to individuals seeking their Commercial Truck Driver’s License (CDL). The FTCC CDL Program is registered by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and certified as a Training Provider.
Through this program, students will have the option of pursuing two routes for licensing to include the Class “A” Tractor/Trailers and “B” w/Passenger.
Commercial Driver's License Program (CDL) - Class “A” Tractor/Trailers
Introduction
This is a 10-week program designed to prepare students for the Commercial Driving License examination. Topics include hours of service reporting, pre-trip/post-trip inspections, driving practice, trip planning and DMV testing. Additional instructional areas will be included to ensure students’ success in the commercial truck driving industry.

Tuition/Fees: $622.25 (Effective September 6, 2024, and prices are subject to change)
- Tuition/Fee – $230.00
- DOT Long Form Physical & Drug Screen – $110.00 (Payable at Med-One, Owen Drive)
- Drug Screen -$65.00 (Payable at Med-One, Owen Drive, during first week of class)
- CDL Class A Permit – $77.00 (Payable at DMV)
- Unofficial Driving History – $12.75 (Payable at DMV)
- CDL Class A Licenses – $127.50 (Payable at DMV at the conclusion of class)
Employment Applications
FTCC and FAST Transit have partnered to offer the Class B License with Passenger Endorsement training program. FAST will cover the tuition and passing students will have the opportunity to work at FAST!
